Nic: New South Wales (NSW)
NJ: Queensland
2. What’s the bird emblem of your state?
Nic: Kookaburra
NJ: Brolga
3. Did you have to look that up?
Nic: *cough, cough* yes *cough, cough*
NJ: No (I sometimes have them wandering in my yard)
4. Favourite season?
Nic: Summer - although since having kids, I don’t particularly like getting around in a swimming costume any more. That doesn’t stop me though *grin*
NJ: Winter
5. Favourite ice cream flavour?
Nic: Coffee/cappuccino (I like my coffee in all forms)
NJ: None (Don't eat it)
Renae: WHHAA-AAT?!?! **blinks** I've never had that answer before! LOL!
6. Favourite colour?
Nic: Green – green is cool and restful, it’s a colour of nature plus I have a thing for green eyes.
Renae: **melts** oooh - green eyes....
NJ: Red.
7. Three people from history you’d like to meet?
Nic: My lots-of-greats-grandfather who first brought the family out to Australia, Helen Keller (such an inspiration) and Elvis (for no particular reason other than he’s Elvis)

8. Do you prefer dinner parties, or raves?
Nic: Dinner parties

Nic: Taurus
NJ: Aquarius

Nic: Night owl (but the homebody-type night owl)
NJ: Both (bed by midnight up by 4am)
Renae: **blinks** You can do that? On purpose? I mean, not a child waking you???

Nic: Coffee in the day, wine with dinner, martini if I’m feeling glamorous
NJ: Green tea

Nic: Chinese

Nic: Mountains
NJ: Forest
14. Author you admire?
Nic: I think all authors deserve admiration for deciding to write a book and doing it! Regardless of level of success or even how you determine success, it takes dedication to write a book and courage to put your work out there.

15. Favourite book you’ve written?
Nic: Charlie’s Hero – it’s my first full length novel and I’m super excited about it although it won’t be released until June/July 2015.
NJ: The Lines Of Marsden 2: Living In Shadows
16. Your next book release and when?
Nic: More Than a Superstar was released on 17th December 2014
NJ: The Lines Of Marsden 3: You make Me Die In Pieces & Experimentals 2: Running Into Zero Tolerance (Both with MLRPress and both in early 2015 not sure yet which will be released first).
17. If you weren’t a writer, would you go mad?
Nic: If I wasn’t writing, I’d find something else to channel my energies into. I’d miss it but I don’t think I’d go mad (well, not much more than I already am). I’d definitely stick with the genre though, as a reader and with the blog (does the blog count as writing? *grin* )
NJ: Yes.
18. Greatest writing inspiration – pictures, people or plots?
Nic: Plots
NJ: Pictures (though for me it’s songs or lines from a song)
19. Most frustrating part of writing?
Nic: Sometimes it’s hard to find the time to write as there are just not enough hours in the day!
NJ: Punctuation (I suck at it) also Synopsis & Blurbs
